Meet the Staff

Holly Lawson, Insurance Billing  Holly is the newest    edition to the Carey Chiropractic family even though she is not new to chiropractic.  She has been doing chiropractic billing and working in chiropractic offices for over 16 years!  She is experienced in Major Medical Insurance, Work Comp in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia, Auto Accidents,

Personal Injuries, Medicare, Medicaid in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia and Personal Pay accounts.  She can help you with any questions that you may have about your billing or insurance needs. 

Holly is a 1991 graduate of Russell High School and currently pursuing her associate's degree from KCTCS.  She has been married for almost 17 years and happily resides in Worthington, KY.  She wouldn't let us mention her husband without the mention of her three baby chihuahuas that she has either.  You never know, their pictures could pop up on the website!

Virginia Vickers, Front Desk  Virginia is the first smiling face that you will see when you come in Dr. Carey's office.  She has 24 years in customer service and public relations so she knows what it takes for great customer service and to keep our patients smiling!  Virginia can answer questions about your care in the office and take care of your appointment needs.  She can be emailed with any questions or office needs at vvickers@drdjcarey.com. 

Virginia is a graduate of Vinson High School and currently resides with her husband in Westmoreland, WV.  She is the proud momma of two children and one granddaughter, Maycie. 

Cindy Hayes, Chiropractic Assistant  Cindy has been with Dr. Carey for two years.  If you haven't already been in as a patient and met her, then you could know her from being a resident in Proctorville for 32 (+) years.  Cindy has been married for 28 years and has two children and is "Grandy" to six grandsons!  (We think she needs a girl in the mix to keep all those boys in line). 

She is originally from South Point, so surely you have met her somewhere along the way.  Cindy graduated from South Point High School and also attended Huntington Jr. College for Medical Assitant. 

Cindy will be the tech that will administer your therapy in the office.  She also keeps all of our precertifications and approvals for care up to date.  If you have any questions about your care, she can also be emailed at chayes@drdjcarey.com.  Cindy is our "go to" for our patient relations. 

 Melinda Boggs, Licensed Massage Therapist  Melinda is last but definately not least.  She is the one we would call the most popular staff member.  We think Melinda gives the best massages in the Tri-State!  Her services are in high demand so if you would like an appointment with her, make sure you call several days ahead of time. 

Melinda is also the proud momma of four children and her first grandbaby is on the way and due in June.  So before long, you can come in for a massage and hear stories "about the grandkids!"

Melinda is a graduate of Collins Career Center 2009 School of Massage.  Melinda is currently studying trigger point therapy, myofascial release and hot stone massage.  She is also experienced in pregnancy massage and sports massage.  So all of the new "mommy's to be" need to come in for a relaxing experience.  Melinda also does full body massages as well.   We offer 30 minute as well as 1 hour sessions.  Make sure you get registered as a member for periodic discounts on massage!!
